We are a part of YWAM Global. You can serve with YWAM Koh Kong as a mission trip, student, staff member, or volunteer. To join as staff, you must first complete a Discipleship Training School (DTS).
We have three training schools: DTS (Discipleship Training School), SOMD (School of Ministry Development), and Bible School
All YWAM Staff and Ministries are funded by relationship-based support and trust God for all of their financial need. If you’re based in Cambodia, you can donate us via ABA Bank (Account Name: University of Nation, Account Number: 003 624 098). If you are from outside of Cambodia, you can donate through PayPal. UofN Koh Kong is a part of UofN Cambodia and all financial processes have to go through UofN Battambang. Click DonateNow for donation: Donate Now
If you send the funds via PayPal, they will be sent to YWAM Kona, who will then transfer them to UofN Battambang. From there, the funds will be transferred to UofN Koh Kong within a month.

The budget depends on various factors such as the locations your team will be working in (we are working in six different locations and have many partners), as well as the length of stay and planned activities.
Travel Expenses back/forth Phnom Penh-Koh Kong options:
-A minivan: 30$ per person
-A whole bus (35 people): 800$
-A whole van (up to 25 people): 600$
Hotel in Phnom Penh: If your team decided to stay in Phnom Penh a few night before heading to Koh Kong. You should also prepare budget for food, hotel, and others that higher than in Koh Kong.
-Hotel: 30$ per night two bed.
-food: 10$ per day per person.
-Transportation: 5$ per day per person.
Koh Kong Arrival: To ensure a smooth stay at the UofN Koh Kong base, it is crucial to create a budget that covers the expenses listed below:
-Housing and Food: $15 per day. This covers electricity, water, and food for three meals a day.
-Transportation: $3 per day for one person. We use TukTuks as transportation. Some villages have to go by boat.
-Ministry budget: $1.5 per day. You won’t use this amount every day, whereas on other days you might use more. This is to help with any of the ministries that you are working in i.e., maintenance, jerseys/equipment, greenery, etc. This is completely at your discretion.
Additional expenses:
If your team is unable to cook, you may need to consider hiring a cook especially if your team decides to stay in the village. This may increase transportation and food expenses by approximately $5 per person.
If you come as a team, we recommend you book a whole van or a bus from Phnom Penh Capital which could cost around 300 USD to 400 USD to Koh Kong, and give them the Google direction to us. Back and forth should be 600 USD to 800 USD.
For a family or individual who comes from Phnom Penh capital, we recommend you take a Virak Buntham minivan that would take around 4-6 hours, depending on traffic and road conditions
We recommend taking Tuk Tuk or Passapp or Grab for small teams, families, or individuals which could cost around $2 to 7$. Download the Passapp or Grab in Playstore for Android and App Store for iOS before arriving.
If your team is big and there are a lot of luggage and bags, contact us ahead so that we can arrange transportation for your team.
