YWAM Koh Kong Land Project | Buy the Field Campaign

Cambodia is standing at a defining moment in history. Once known to the world for the tragedy of the Khmer Rouge and the “Killing Fields,” this nation is now becoming a place of hope, restoration, and spiritual hunger. Today, Cambodia is one of the youngest nations on earth, with nearly half of the population under 22 years old.

At YWAM Koh Kong, we believe this generation can transform the nation.

That is why we are stepping out in faith to launch the YWAM Koh Kong Land Project, a vision to establish a permanent ministry campus dedicated to discipleship, leadership development, youth outreach, and church planting in Cambodia.

Why We Are Moving Forward Now

Since starting ministry in Koh Kong in 2020, we have seen God open many doors through village ministry, youth outreach, dorm ministry, soccer ministry, DTS, and church planting. Renting facilities has helped us begin, but it also limits long-term growth and stability.

We believe the Lord is leading us to establish a permanent campus that will serve future generations of Cambodian young leaders. This land is not only for buildings — it is for discipleship, missions, and transformation.

The Vision for the Property

The property is located near the Koh Kong Independence Monument and the University of Foundations base area. The land size is approximately 7,000 square meters, and our goal is to gradually develop it into a ministry training center for decades to come.

This future campus will include:

• A home for Discipleship Training School (DTS)
• Youth camps and outreach training
• A dormitory for rural students
• A Bible school and leadership training center
• A 300-seat church and community hall
• Space for worship, sports ministry, and community development

Our heart is to create a place where young people encounter God, discover their calling, and are equipped to impact Cambodia and the nations.

Current Progress

We are excited to share that, by God’s grace, we have already raised:

$20,000 out of $350,000

This represents approximately:

400 square meters secured out of 7,000 square meters

(5.7% completed)

Every gift, whether large or small, is helping move this vision forward.

“Buy the Field”

The campaign name comes from the biblical picture of investing in God’s future promises. We believe this land will become fertile ground for the Gospel and for raising up the next generation of leaders in Cambodia.

One square meter of land costs approximately $50 USD. Many supporters are choosing to sponsor one or more square meters as a practical way to participate in the vision.

Ministry Continues While We Build

Even as we work toward purchasing the property, ministry continues every week:

• Church planting gatherings in Koh Kong and surrounding areas
• Bible studies in our dorm ministry
• Soccer outreach with local youth
• DTS discipleship and evangelism
• Community outreach and prayer ministry

We are continually encouraged by the hunger we see among young people to know God and grow in leadership.

During the crisis and bombings in late 2025, many people evacuated the city. Yet our DTS students chose to stay and serve displaced families, refugee camps, and hurting communities with food, water, prayer, and practical help.

This is the kind of generation we believe God is raising up in Cambodia:
young leaders who live by faith, serve sacrificially, and bring hope in difficult times.

The land project exists to help train and send out more leaders like them.
